Mónica is an associate professor at the Barcelona School of Telecommunications Engineering (ETSETB). She gives lectures in the Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Technologies and Services Engineering (GRETST):
- Laboratorio de Telemática-II (LT2). Laboratory of Telematics (1995-2011).
- Transmisión de Datos (TD). Data Transmission (1999-2011). Viator server (problems and exercices)
- Introducció a les Xarxes Telemàtiques (IXT). Introduction to Communication Networks (2010-present).
- Enginyeria de Qualitat de Servei en Xarxes IP (EQSIP). Quality of Service Engineering in IP network (2013-2019).

She lectured in the Master of Science in Information and Communication Technologies (MINT), master defunct since 2014:
- Broadband Networks and Services (2004-2012).
- Fundamental Networks, Aplications and Services (2010-2012).

She lectured in the Master in Telematics Engineering (MTE), master defunct since 2014:
